RADARSAT-1 satellite captured it's first image of the earthquake in the Abruzzo region (Italy) approximately 14.5 hours after the devastating event. Using two RADARSAT-1 images over the area - one taken before the event and one after - Tele-Rilevamento Europa, TRE, has produced the first co-seismic interferogram of the earthquake just three days after the event.
